    Your score for this metric is one IMDb rating from a movie on your team, with the highest rating being the goal.


    2- Once Upon a Time
    Your score for this metric is the release date of a single movie on your team, with the earliest release being the goal.
    Paired with Metric 3


    3- To Infinity, and Beyond
    Your score for this metric is the release date of a single movie on your team, with the most recent release being the goal.
    Paired with Metric 2


    4- Oscar Clout
    Your score is the total amount of points earned by your team based on this scale:
    -Nomination for Best Animated Feature earns you 1 point
    -Win for Best Animated Feature earns you an additional 1 point
    -Nomination for best original song earns you 1 point
    _Win for Best Original Song earns you an additional 1 point
    The max score a single movie can earn is 4 points. Multiple nominations for song do not add additional points.


    5- Its not Just for Kids
    Your score is the total amount of points earned by your team based on this scale:
    -R rated movies earn 4 points
    -PG-13 rated movies earn 3 points
    -PG rated movies earn 2 points
    -G rated movies earn 1 point


    6- Feature Length Features
    Your score is the total amount of runtime in minutes of all the movies on your team, with the most being the goal.
    Paired with Metric 7


    7- Animated Shorts, Kind of…
    Your score is the total amount of runtime in minutes of all the movies on your team, with the least being the goal
    Paired with Metric 6


    8- The Ray Harryhausen Award
    Your score is the total amount of points earned by your team based on this scale:
    -Stop motion animation movies earn you 3 points
    -Traditional Animation movies earn you 2 points
    -CG Animation movies earn you 1 point


    9- Money Printers
    Your score is the unadjusted domestic box office for one movie on your team, with the highest being the goal.


    10- Money Printer Printers
    Your score is the total amount of points earned by your team based on this scale:
    -Each prequel/sequel/film in the series (excluding the picks themselves), add one point.
    -Each Spin off movie based on the series, add two points.


  • Sports Movie Metrics

    Here are the Metrics we used for the Sports Movie draft.


    • 1- DO YOU WANT ACCURACY OR ENTERTAINMENT?
      Your score is the number of movies on your team that are “based on true events”

    • 2- WINNING ISN’T EVERYTHING…
      Your score is the number of movies on your team where the protagonists LOSE the Big Game. For the purposes of the metric, a tie, DNF, or disqualification counts as a loss. Paired with Metric 3

    • 3- IT’S THE ONLY THING.
      Your score is the number of movies on your team where the protagonists WIN the Big Game. Paired with Metric 2.

    • 4- FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT
      Your score is determined by adding the value of all movies on your team based on MPAA rating – G=3, PG=2, PG13=1, R=0

    • 5- ESPN 8: THE OCHO Scattergories scoring based on sports depicted by movies on your team. If any other coach shares a sport, neither coach earns a point. Level of play does not make a difference, but format (beach volleyball vs volleyball) does. Your score is the total amount of points scored by unique sports.

    • 6- THAT’S BUSH LEAGUE
      Your score is the number of movies on your team focused on teams that compete at NCAA, HS, AAA/minor league, little league, etc. level. Paired with Metric 7.

    • 7- THE SHOW
      Your score is the number of movies on your team focused on teams that compete at professional or national level. Pro sports leagues, olympics, Team USA etc. This includes international competitions at any age or level. Paired with Metric 6.

    • 8- IT’S NOT WORTH WINNING IF YOU CAN’T WIN BIG
      Your score is the combined total points scored during a single team sport movie’s Big Game. For example, if the final score of the big game was 3-2, your score would be 5. 

    • 9- JUDGE’S DECISION
      Your score is the highest Tomatometer rating % of the movies on your team.

    • 10- BOX OFFICE HOME RUN
      Your score is the domestic box office total of a single movie from your team.
