Before we get to the rules and metrics, a bit of explaining. When this was recorded, I didn’t know that issue that would be caused by two opposite metrics being chosen. As such, paired metrics were not a thing yet. I also didn’t realize how many ties I could cause with the”X number of picks on your team” metrics.
Similarly, before the recording, I hadn’t totally clarified the rules about how much potato makes it a main ingredient, or what u would consider to be an entree vs a side. We clarify that as we went along, but none of that was available to the players beforehand.
Here are the metrics we used for the Potato Side Dish draft
1- THROW SOME CHEESE ON THAT BITCH
Your score is the total number of dishes on your team that include cheese as an ingredient, with the highest being the goal.
2- I GOT THE SECRET RECIPE – CHICKEN, GREASE, SALT
Your score is the amount of ingredients in a single pick, excluding potatoes, fat (oil/butter/etc), and salt. Lowest score is goal.
3- ITS COMPLICATED

6- YOU’VE PROBABLY NEVER HEARD OF THEM
